Abstract

Collaboration between nurses and health assistants plays a pivotal role in strengthening the healthcare delivery system. As healthcare becomes increasingly complex, teamwork and shared responsibilities between these professionals are essential to achieving patient-centered and integrated care. This paper explores the roles, challenges, and opportunities of such collaboration, highlighting its impact on patient safety, quality of care, healthcare efficiency, and professional development. Ten discussion points are presented to illustrate how cooperation enhances outcomes, addresses challenges, and prepares healthcare systems for future demands.
